DATMA Pride Community Project

My contribution to the DATMA Pride community Exhibition. The shredded strips symbolize the struggles the community faces, but the gold shows hows those experiences shape and the best comes shining through. The gold fabric caught the light beautifully outside.

Inspired by the lightness of laughter and the way it envelopes you. Created with layers of organza, sewn tunnels, and weed-whacker filament fed through and shaped.
