About
Me
My name is Lindsey Mannion, and I’m a returning student at UMASS Dartmouth pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. After changing majors three times, I discovered my passion for fashion and have maintained a perfect GPA since returning to school. My journey has taught me that design is more than aesthetics—it’s a powerful way to tell meaningful stories and evoke emotions.

I have experience in retail, specializing in selling special occasion dresses, and I’ve completed an internship in technical design for children's apparel. Additionally, I serve as the treasurer for my school’s Fashion Design Club, where I help foster collaboration and creativity among my peers. Currently based in Fall River, I am eager to embrace new opportunities that allow me to grow personally and professionally.

Lindsey Mannion aims to create garments that inspire confidence and transform how people see themselves. Her style is feminine, exuberant, and rooted in nostalgia, drawing from vintage aesthetics and historical references to craft modern, wearable designs. She views fashion as a form of storytelling—a way to blend history, emotion, and artistry into pieces that are both beautiful and meaningful.

Color, sophistication, and visual impact are central to her work, along with evoking emotional responses through thoughtful details like bows, pleats, and ruffles. She resists fleeting trends, focusing on creating designs with depth and timeless appeal. Through her work, Lindsey hopes to help people embrace the joy of dressing up and step boldly into their own story.
